Pros
I absolutely love working here. I personally thrive in this start up culture where things move fast and faced with challenges. Figuring out how we can work around limitations is my thing but it isn't for everyone. My favorite part is being empowered to do the job I was hired to do. There are companies out there where they often work very waterfall and have to do exactly what leadership tells you instead of trusting you to come up with something. Here, I am encouraged to explore and dive deep into my projects. The company culture is great. They are very transparent about all the decisions they make with weekly all hands to help all the employees stay updated on what's happening throughout the organization. I trust the leadership and the direction they are taking the company.
Cons
Sidecar Health is a start up and that comes with certain working culture that's not for everyone. Teams are continuing to grow at rapid rates and that comes with growing pains and gaps in process. However, leadership listens and continues to work towards filling those gaps. When leadership says they are going to do something, they really work to deliver and when they can't, they are transparent about the reason. This doesn't mean the growing pains aren't still painful.
