Pros
At Siemens PLM you are definitely respected, given opportunity to grow and generally part of a pretty healthy ecosystem. This is a great place to work, and the work we do is very interesting. Our customers are great and we are generally strategic to their business in some domains or at least highly differentiated. We are generally seen as a strategic asset to our customers / partners. You own your own career and development path, so make a point to work that with your manager and you won't be upset. People who get upset generally don't want to take a chance to do something new, then get frustrated because they "feel" stuck. The opportunity is there, but you OWN your career and have to be courageous to take a chance.
Cons
I would generally like a little more aggression and accountability to results, but without being disruptive. I haven't agreed with all decisions leadership has made, but I work with far too many companies to believe that there is a utopia where this happens. In any case I think we are headed in the right direction now across the board.
