Pros

The chips in the cafeteria are good.

Cons

Blatantly corrupt. Don’t bother bringing your concerns to HR — they will just coincidentally “eliminate your position” shortly after. Good news though — there is no need for a degree or any marketing experience to get a job in MARCOM, just weasel your way into strategic friendships. And enjoy having the “favorites” act like they know more than you, no matter how much of a work ethic or proven track record you have. The gossip, retaliation, and drama is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. And it’s allowed. A LOT of people with egos that seriously need to be humbled. Not to mention dozens of (public) lawsuits and failures that are covered up by fabricated “wins.” Even customers are sick of being gaslit by the lies and corruption of this company. They are the laughing stock of the industry and don’t even realize it. Truly embarassing to have ever been a part of this organization. The only way to succeed here is to shut up, keep your head down, and let people walk all over you. Look elsewhere if you have good ideas and are outspoken about them. They’ll see you as a threat, almost like you’re doing your job well to make them look bad. You won’t succeed unless you’re a part of the club and they want you to.
