Pros
The schedule is fairly flexible, which allows for opportunities outside of work.
Cons
The entire business model is flawed, as there seems to be a disconnect between upper level management and employees. The company seriously lacks leading industry experience which is crucial in developing a baseline for Security performance. The model thus far seems to be based more on sales than actually providing an adequate security service. These things are all extrapolated by the lack of training the company provides its officers. Officers are not trained in safety and security procedures in a classroom environment by professionals, but rather take part in an online learning program that provides little information on what the job will consist of. This training describes basic security tasks, but does not cover the specific details in relation to the actual site an officer will be working at. This company is also a logistical nightmare, as employees are expected to achieve success with no support from the company. Finally the most experience person at the company is a former law enforcement officer that never reached an administrative, or management level position at the agency. No management experience, to becoming the Vice President of a company employing personnel in the hundreds is not a recipe for success. Additionally, the lower level managers in the operations department have even less experience. It is astounding this company gets by with the inept management.
