Pros

Since the Peoria/Glendale, Scottsdale/Tempe, and Mesa/Chandler territories merged to created Phoenix Signal 88 Security the opportunity for both employees and clients have increase to the make them a true world class organization. I say this as an employee who has both advanced in my career and someone who had come to see added benefits made available to the clients. If given the chance I would encourage anyone to learn how a relationship with this growing company can add to the lives of others. Nationally, I have seen managers and owners demonstrate the highest standard of workmanship, values, and ethics in comparison to any other company I have ever worked for.

Cons

I have not encountered any Cons to speak of.

Pros

It's a job; there are no pros other than quitting.

Cons

Low pay due to the ungodly high rate of royalty fees a franchise has to pay 9 and 11% of each contract. The territory debt each franchise owner incurs is crazy! The territory debt is anywhere from $1-6 million to be paid back at aproxemintly 10%. Each franchise owner has to renew their franchise agreement every 3 years. Signal puts franchise owners into serious debt. Franchise owners are forced to enter into contracts with strategic partners at no profit, all the while being told it will help pay off the debt sooner, as if that is a good thing. Because of this model, the guards suffer the most. Franchise owners can't increase pay for the people who show up and do the hard part of the job. No one will move up in the franchise model; someone has to quit for that to happen. DOn't let the "career opportunities" that are preached fool you. They mean nothing and are just there to make you feel like you're achieving something when, in reality, you're not. The training provided is a complete joke and is highly overrated. You will be treated as if you're important, but it's just abuse. Abuse that starts from the very, very top.
