Pros
Pretty flexible schedule. Job can transfer to and location that has an opening and in other states. Depending on what location you're at you can have a "family" relationship with everyone. Monthly bonuses available if your entire store makes their monthly sales goals. Highest seller for that month gets the largest cut, lowest seller gets the least. so work hard. Good hourly pay if you properly advocate for yourself. Benefits and vacation time available, even for part time employees.
Cons
The company simply focuses on making your 5 for 5-sales/ear piercings/ ear piercing dollars/credit cards/leasing. Sometimes it can make you feel like a dirty car salesmen. District manager doesn't care about employees, they just care about your numbers (at least thats all mine focused on) She would encourage lying to customers and reselling even broken jewelry because the better her stores did the bigger individual bonus she received. She would not resolve store conflicts and would mistreat employees she didn't like. Also, she constantly promoted people who were dishonest and not the right fit to take on more responsibilities. This is why I decided to leave the company. Theres a big difference in being a leader vs. a boss, I wanted my team to be successful and not beat them down because they needed assistance in weaker areas. Employees were fearful of the district manager.
