Pros

* Flat company. Few executives, all of whom are constantly in the trenches with the troops. Almost no office politics and no ladder climbing by colleagues. * New management (CEO, CFO and Chairman) have been around now for 6 months. Company seems to be in much better direction prior to previous management (when Silvaco was aggressively controlled by only Ivan). * Obvious culture shift for the better. Push from above to make company feel more like a big family. * A real science & technology company focused on solving a very wide spectrum of complex problems in various fields. Workers encouraged to build good relationships with all customers (from university level all the way to big companies). Workers play an important role in solving customer problems (for both domestic and international customers).

Cons

* Some products/groups are stretched too thin in terms of engineers and need more help/staff. * Needs way more communication between sites. Company could be in even better shape if inner-office communication was not an issue.

Pros

Excellent place to learn how software survives without active development. Engineers gain rapid experience in being resource-optimized. Meetings are plentiful; outcomes optional. Ideal if you enjoy watching institutional knowledge evaporate in real time.

Cons

This was never a strong engineering company - just one that burned through people while coasting on aging products. Engineers are treated as disposable, real contributors are pushed out, and institutional knowledge is routinely discarded. What’s left is process, confusion, and churn instead of technical direction. Customers looking for stability, innovation, or long-term support should be cautious and look elsewhere.
