Pros

close to hospitals for residents

Cons

Silverado Has really gone down hill. The residents get less than minimal care a the King- Wood Facility. The new administration really sucks and have terrible communicating skill with the residents love ones. It's all about money! The caregiver to resident ratio is the same as normal elderly that has no handicaps

Please know that you can always reach out and discuss your experience and how we can make improvements at Silverado. We strive to make opportunities available through our open-door policy, providing feedback in person at our annual Town Hall meetings, the Associate Concern Hotline you can use to leave an anonymous message, or by contacting a member of the Human Resources team. We are also happy to discuss how Silverado has been successful in providing staffing rations well beyond the industry standards and state requirements. This business model, coupled with your commitment to serve our residents, are just a few things we have done to provide the high levels of care that others in the industry strive to reach.

Pros

Very meaningful and rewarding work helping families through one of the hardest transitions in life. The role truly allows you to make a difference and positively impact residents and families every day. Supportive team environment with leadership that understands the emotional side of the work. During a difficult personal time when my grandfather was dying, the company was incredibly supportive and allowed me the time I needed to be at his bedside with my family. It is truly a blessing to be part of Silverado. The work we do changes lives by giving families the opportunity to be family again while knowing their loved one is being cared for with compassion, dignity, and support.

Cons

The work can be emotionally heavy at times because you build close relationships with residents and families who are going through difficult situations. However, the support from the team and leadership helps make those challenges manageable.
