Silverado Response

Thank you for your 3+ years of services to our residents and families at San Juan Capistrano. At Silverado, we provide many opportunities for associates to share their thoughts and ideas which help us continue to improve and make Silverado a great place to work. We have, an associate concern hotline where you can anonymously report any concerns and we host annual town hall events where our executive team dedicates their time to listen to concerns and constructive feedback. As a current associate, Human Resources would love an opportunity to hear your concerns. It is your voice that helps us improve. Your feedback will be taken very seriously and will help Silverado continue to be an employer of choice.

Pros

Very meaningful and rewarding work helping families through one of the hardest transitions in life. The role truly allows you to make a difference and positively impact residents and families every day. Supportive team environment with leadership that understands the emotional side of the work. During a difficult personal time when my grandfather was dying, the company was incredibly supportive and allowed me the time I needed to be at his bedside with my family. It is truly a blessing to be part of Silverado. The work we do changes lives by giving families the opportunity to be family again while knowing their loved one is being cared for with compassion, dignity, and support.

Cons

The work can be emotionally heavy at times because you build close relationships with residents and families who are going through difficult situations. However, the support from the team and leadership helps make those challenges manageable.
