Thank you for sharing your comments. We review all of our Glassdoor comments and do our best to respond to everyone. As a current employee, would you be available to take some time to speak to someone on our Human Resources team or contact the associate concern hotline? We would love to discuss how management can do a better job of interacting and treating our associates and what areas of our culture you would like to see us emphasize.

Pros

Very meaningful and rewarding work helping families through one of the hardest transitions in life. The role truly allows you to make a difference and positively impact residents and families every day. Supportive team environment with leadership that understands the emotional side of the work. During a difficult personal time when my grandfather was dying, the company was incredibly supportive and allowed me the time I needed to be at his bedside with my family. It is truly a blessing to be part of Silverado. The work we do changes lives by giving families the opportunity to be family again while knowing their loved one is being cared for with compassion, dignity, and support.

Cons

The work can be emotionally heavy at times because you build close relationships with residents and families who are going through difficult situations. However, the support from the team and leadership helps make those challenges manageable.
