Pros

Supportive colleagues and generally positive team environment. Good opportunities for personal development and growth when things are going well. Recognition initiatives such as Simply Brilliant highlight staff achievements. Clear performance metrics and regular 1:1 meetings for feedback. (Which they will feed you with positive feedback and tell you that your smashing it and doing great, which is deceiving as they will happily get rid of you due to “performance”. Managers don’t use this time wisely and use it to just to have a chin wag.

Cons

Poor handling of personal circumstances — limited understanding or flexibility when employees face genuine mental health or family issues. Inconsistent communication — important meetings and outcomes not always communicated clearly or with enough notice. Lack of transparency in decision-making, especially around dismissals and HR processes. High pressure around attendance, with little consideration for wellbeing or personal challenges. Promises and feedback on progress not always reflected in management actions. Feeling that loyalty and improvement efforts were overlooked despite meeting and exceeding targets. They are not transparent about commission structure until you passed training and are on the phones.

Pros

Great work life balance and vacation time....

Cons

Many internal issues and felt like this last round of layoffs was to protect inadequate leaders vs hardworking employees. I understand companies do layoffs but this just felt like Senior management trying to protect themselves because they aren't doing an effective job. I really think there are some issues with the leadership team and it probably needs an overhaul. There was never any strategy from product outside of one small area. The rest of the business was left without any guidance or support. I really think the US/UK shared services model does not work. The UK and US just are entirely different markets and the UK at the end of the day doesn't really care about the US nor move as quickly.
