Pros
Non management coworkers are great people. The people really want to make the products better. The Medical and vision Insurance is pretty good.
Cons
Absolutely horrible place to work in sales if you’re not fresh out of college. Tenure is not appreciated. Client relationships are not valued. The focus is always NEW BUSINESS over current long term clients. At one time, this was a fun business with several perks. Management would rather let events pass and horde swag than allow employees to use it. The biggest thorn in my side is the 111 day charge back system. Payments sent to a lock Box received Friday after 3 or on Saturday sit until Monday without being posted. Meanwhile the company has set up most invoices to be due on SUNDAY. If the payment is due on Sunday, arrives on Saturday but isn’t deposited until Monday, the salesperson LOSES that commission and can never get it back. Sounds like a form of wage theft. There is no celebration of success, rather when the salespeople hit the quarterly budget, a bonus is paid to EVERYONE BUT THE SALESPEOPLE. However, if the wrong traffic airs, or commercials are put in wrong by master control, the salespeople are the ones who lose money. The company gives a $25 data allowance, however require your phone data for their CRM program and as a hotspot for your tablet when doing presentations. Considering that salespeople pay to keep the lights on, they are constantly being told how worthless they are, how expendable they are, and management does nothing to promote team work
