Pros
Have bought a number of TV stations in last 3 years, including some in larger markets. For those interested in moving up the TV ladder, this makes the process a little easier (if you're not opposed to the cons below).
Cons
Very structured, corporate environment. Trying to grow too quickly. Won't hesitate to layoff long-time employees and hire freelancers/less experienced replacements. All salary/contract negotiations must go through central office and they are extremely slow in responding. That being said, this is typical of most media companies nowadays, especially in broadcasting.
