Pros

I truly can only think of two good things about this company, and that is their meal card plan. If you work as an Assitant General Manager, General Manager, Kitchen Manager, or C-level employee, they will issue you a meal card that you can use at a variety of different restaurants as well as a few different restaurant concepts. Their benefits are typical for a franchise company. The second is the ability to put a smile on customers faces. It just feels nice to do.

Cons

The biggest con is the cutthroat politics which occur at this company. As an assistant manager, I saw how this work environment led to 3 people being terminated. Case 1: An employee was unable to work during December, the general manager stalked her during her shift and fired her for a getting a drink order wrong. Case 2: Employee refused to serve spoiled fry sauce to guests, then the manager told employee it was ok to do something, when in fact it was a fireable offense. (on this one, he even had the audacity to commit the offense himself to make it look like it was ok) Case 3: Employee puts in their 2-week notice, works 3 more weeks, notifies management he wouldn't be coming in for a 4th, is terminated for no call/no show. In each of these cases, the legal dept. was notified. Add this culture on top of a naturally stressful job and you have a recipe for a crummy job. Hence, Don't Work Here, Just Don't. Other cons are typical for working in a restaurant, you work when others play. Promotions are slow to come and hard earned
