Pros
I met some great people while working here who have become close friends. Mostly because we have trauma bonded over the poor treatment, favoritism and low wages.
Cons
Where do I start? I guess let's start with the low wages. They do not pay support what they are worth. Starting pay at $22 an hour. You are responsible for taking 4 chats, a phone call and hit email goals. So they want you to be able to juggle 6 conversations at once. For $22 an hour. Whenever I tell friends who work similar positions at other companies they are shocked by the unrealistic work load they give us. For $22 an hour. It truly is not shock that they have had people turn down job offers recently to work in this department. Has anyone else noticed the REMOTE job posting that they have posting in Indiana? Trying to hard to find workers who think $22 is enough to survive. God forbid they actually just give the whole department a raise to a reasonable wage so that they would appeal to local sacramento workers. Now onto management.... there is a lot to be desired here. The manager is an actual child and not mature enough to be in this role. He does not handle conflicts or issues within the department with any level of care or concern. I'm scared to even speak up because I have seen at least 2 people fired for speaking up about their concerns during meetings. If management doesn't like you personally, they will find a way to fire you. The actual product is embarrassingly bad. The Skyslope platform is always broken in 1 way or another. Having to give work around resolutions to clients instead of fixing problems is so bad. The support team is the only team that has to actually talk to these angry people. And they have every right to be mad because the product that they pay for SUCKS. I would say RUN, Don't walk away from this employer. You could honestly go work at target for $22 an hour and deal with way less stress.
