Pros

Skycatch has some really hard working employees who put their heart and soul into their job.

Cons

It's a shame that that development is misguided by a lack of technical awareness in terms of tools and advancements made in the space and through slave driving by upper management. Most of the time is spent fixing issues that should not persist upto the 11th hour before client demos. The management makes up imaginary deadlines to showcase new products and features prematurely to retain "company image and trust". The engineers are forced to execute spit and shine solutions due to being over-driven with little to no resources spent in R&D or exploration to gain footing and better IP. Managers just implicitly expect people to work through the night and weekends so that they can have a potato to run with at a demo. When the people who have worked overtime ask for a break or adjustments to their benefits, they are asked to just brush it off and realise they are working at a "challenging startup". It feels incredibly dishonest that most of the technological features showcased in the promo videos does not exit, and with the current attitude of the senior employees, puts Skycatch light years away from achieving them. Culture wise, there is great emphasis on being PC and constantly regimenting how things should appear rather than spending that energy towards a better product and IP that would stand on its own merit.

Pros

Enjoyed all my time at Skycatch. From working with the CEO on down the line to all our key customers and partners, it was a wonderful work environment and great culture.

Cons

Enterprise Drone market place is somewhat dominated by DJI (a $20B+ Chinese based company) who have roughly 80% of the market share in the US.
