Pros

-I joined Skydio right out of college because I wanted a job that was like my project team. College project teams are small and the role of each student can be critical. I loved that because I'm most motivated and excited when I can see my influence on the project -- when my piece of it is sizable and I get to be involved in decisions that will affect how the whole product works. Skydio has absolutely met this expectation. -Skydio is built on making you more powerful at your job and challenging you to take on more responsibility. I don't think this is written anywhere, but it's clear in how we do things. As a product design engineer, I work on all stages of creating our products -- early-stage architecture and detailed design and prototyping through manufacturing efficiency improvements. I appreciate this full-view of a product cycle, and I think it makes me better at my job. -Skydio is filled with people who are all-stars. They are incredibly effective at what they do, and quite often are known in their field. This is likely the case with many companies, independent of my biased opinion that Skydio is unique. The key thing at Skydio is that all these brilliant people are humble. I love the culture that creates.

Cons

Every once in a while we have an all-hands presentation that is way too positive about our product. The Skydio 2 is awesome, and I am proud to have worked on it, but it has clear downsides. I would like them to be highlighted with our successes, to make sure we keep striving for better.

Pros

Free food that is about it.

Cons

Management is very very poor. nepotism referrals no experience or bad experience from small companies. I worked in about a dozen places too. This place takes the cake as the worst management. All their manufacturing lines are designed horribly. Some people don't speak English well here can't communicate ideas. They get all pissed off when you ask questions low EQ if you are trying to understand something deeper. High turnover job they slander you. People joking before the shift about how we all are going to get fired before the start of the shift
