Pros

An incredible culture full of inspiring, caring and passionate people. Everyone is massively supportive and genuinely cares about the well-being of every member of staff. Nobody is ever too busy to grab a coffee and share the experiences with you and support you in whatever way they can. The leadership team is very connected to the business and cares deeply about delivering an exceptional experience not just for clients but for everyone at Slalom too. Great opportunities for training, certifications, and professional development. Working within the local market minimises travel and ensures that everyone is able to maintain a work/life balance. Any opportunities for client work are always discussed with you to gauge your interest and suitability and you would never be pushed into a project that you were not happy with.

Cons

As the business recruits for planned growth then you may find yourself "on the bench" with the onus on you to make sure you use the time productively to add as much value to your practice and the business as you can during this time.

Pros

•There is an impressive budget, especially for high-level events, ancillary experiences, client giveaways, and premium swag. Management does not hesitate to fund top-notch brand experiences when needed. •The company offers a highly competitive benefits and perks package that remains a strong selling point.

Cons

•The "fiercely human" core value does not match daily operations. Collaboration is routinely replaced by a self-service model of training videos and help articles. •These recurring shifts are designed to manufacture the appearance of fiscal stability for the benefit of external stakeholders and clients, while leaving core operational deficits unaddressed. •Organizational maturity is low. Teams operate in deep silos, the internal tech stack is outdated, and there is a distinct lack of adequate project and event management software.
