Pros
When I started at Slalom, the culture was most appealing to me. They wanted to do their part in making it feel like home. Compensation was decent as I was able to negotiate for higher pay. I was able to build friendships outside of the company.
Cons
They don’t do a great job of professional career development. They are so many talented individuals at the company, however the ones who get promoted are typically due to politics or “favoritism”. People Leaders aren’t really trained out how to talk to their direct reports on how to make a career action plan to help them accelerate in their career. They also did a poor job of handling their lay-offs, where I knew so many talented people were let go vs there was a team member that barely showed up to work but was still able to kept their job.
