Pros
SDR Manager Isaac is probably the perfect representation of what you see in LinkedIn into leadership vs management. His mentorship and coaching style will highly influence your motivation to do your absolute best in the job. He WILL set you up for success, highly support your growth and development, and shock you with all the knowledge he can share with you. Don’t get me wrong, as serious and professional as he is, truly feels like he cares about every human being on the team. The overall team by the time I was there was absolutely amazing. Healthy competitiveness, constant cooperation and teamwork, and social activities made SlashDot a bomb place to work at every day. The job itself is challenging, but they have a research team that fills your pipeline with leads, so get ready for 0 prospecting and focus all efforts on cold outreach. Scripts are given to you, same as email templates; just understand the process, put your maximum effort, and it’ll be a blast. Super flexible schedules, never had a better work life balance.
Cons
You hear a lot of things around about upper management, but nothing affects the SDR team directly. They leave the SDR team at the lowest priority when it comes to new tools, fresh leads, and overall attention. Something I loved about the team and SDR manager is that resiliency and adaptation are core values, so we played with what we had and you bet we did a great job. Growth opportunities can be there if you really out stand yourself, takes a lot of hard work and not everybody is up for the task.
