Pros

I have worked at Smarsh for the past 5 years. The growth this company has undergone during that time period has been quite the experience for learning first hand how a company grows, changes, makes mistakes, and adapts. It is a very fast-paced environment, but that's because everyone loves solving problems and improving our products & services constantly. I have been fortunate enough to move around the company into 3 separate, distinct roles. This has been valuable for helping me grow into my skills and abilities and I appreciate that they have let me explore what is interesting to me. They let you think up new ideas and act on them. They let you bring your own ideas to for improvement come to life. They give you the power to make change. They let you stand out as much as you want to stand out.

Cons

It never slows down. ever. It can be high stress with changes but you have to enjoy that type of environment. Could use more team building and all company social events to keep things fun and light and celebrate how hard we work.

Thank you for your advice, and we really appreciate your hard work and dedication over the last 5 years. As you mention, the company has gone through several levels of growth during this time, and we certainly learn from our mistakes, it’s the only way to know you're growing and improving. We recognize the pace of growth and change is not for everyone, as we continue to solve our customers problems. We hear you, we work hard and we need to celebrate our successes, and will continue to look for new ways to add to SmarshWEEK, summer picnics, and the annual kick-off party.

Pros

Decent product, and global market penetration.

Cons

Mergers have been devastating for staff and morale - I saw three in my tenure. Merit does not seem to matter. When new management comes in, everyone is axed.
