Entire sales team feels like a bunch of college frat boys who never grew up. The hours someone new to sales would need to work before making a livable wage is brutal. Not a good route for beginners at all. This job will crush your soul if you are unfamiliar with d2d sales, I can never see people the same way again. They lie to you (then make us lie to the homeowner) and say that getting a new roof due to storm damage does not increase the homeowner’s insurance rate, but in the long term, that is exactly how the company makes money. Off of insurance, albeit not “fraud” legally. The business model is essentially navigating the fine line between helping the homeowner and insurance fraud. They lie to you in cold blood about many things, and they are a sales machine. You are expendable and you will constantly feel expendable in this position, and will be constantly fighting to stay above water. The job is seasonal, but they will expect you to grind year-round either way. The company contracts cheap roof installers, and it shows, and I feel bad for the homeowners.
