Pros

Easy to build a clientele. Paychecks always on time. Discount on products.

Cons

You are a number, not a person. You have to work weekends. No breaks. You are expected to work extremely hard. Hours are long. You must watch the front, clean the salon, stock the shelves, and answer the phone all while giving a hair service. Which means you are constantly leaving your client sitting in the chair while you help someone else. It seems as if nothing is ever good enough for the people at the home office. They always want more.

• Poor management and retaliation for raising concerns • Unauthorized schedule changes with no notice • Unfair NCE pressure and write-ups despite strong sales performance • Micromanagement from 400+ miles away with no understanding of local conditions • High turnover due to bad communication and bullying
