Pros

I fortunately have GREAT Co-workers---tools provided and chemicals--- the walk in clientele--- being located inside Wal-Mart, so you can use tips to buy groceries on your out.

Cons

Extremely Low pay...high volume of responsibilities. Stylists do all receptionist work on top of taking care of clients. You have to walk away from clients multiple times during a service. They have incorporated a ridiculous charting system they claim will make stylists "accountable" for lead measures they assign the salon. It's juvenile to have update a decorated glitter board, these are job requirements....a quality stylist would do them anyway. You are treated like a number, with very little respect. Unfortunately there has been a large change over the past few years...and its not for the good.

• Poor management and retaliation for raising concerns • Unauthorized schedule changes with no notice • Unfair NCE pressure and write-ups despite strong sales performance • Micromanagement from 400+ miles away with no understanding of local conditions • High turnover due to bad communication and bullying
