Pros

Decent benefits and commission of you are trying to build a clientele, like fast paced work, or enjoy new clientele. I was able to work my way up from stylist to manager while they were still a corporation. Benefits were good, and I enjoyed my fellow stylists

Cons

Expectations to work more hours than you're capable. Once they became a franchise, my hours changed. I went from 40 hours to 80 hours without overtime. I left during the pandemic (it's been a long time I know, but I couldn't look for other jobs without commenting and all my jobs since have been local jobs that gd can't find). They push the "we are a family" vibe which often leads to toxic environment situations but that is entirely dependent on the salon leader, and how much pressure they are feeling to hit numbers.

I loved working there. I loved my job. I loved meeting new people..

• Poor management and retaliation for raising concerns • Unauthorized schedule changes with no notice • Unfair NCE pressure and write-ups despite strong sales performance • Micromanagement from 400+ miles away with no understanding of local conditions • High turnover due to bad communication and bullying
