Pros
1. The people. Employees are empowered to take ownership and make a deep impact. 2. Promotions. If you are with the company for a year or so, there are so many paths. Many promotions to management, marketing, data team, sales, training and more. 3. The idea. We have a good product with an amazing opportunity to be a great product. Predictive data/analytics is a hot spot and we are so close to making a huge splash 4. The office. Stocked drinks and snacks. Weekly fruit and bagels. End of the month lunches. Nice onsite cafeteria, gym, basketball, putting green, volleyball and more.
Cons
1. Some leadership. The CEO is smart, but not engaged. He is in his office or meetings most of the day and makes little effort to walk around and get to know employees. I used to sit pretty close to him and he maybe learned my name 3 months ago (I think). 2. Resources. We are all working too much. Employees have left and haven't been replaced. Why? We receive emails that we are doing great. More clarity/communication from the top would be helpful. 3. Engineering team. They fight with each other and we all see it and hear about it. Little engineering process in place. A VP of Engineering or Director is needed
