Pros
Unique product, competition is creeping up Talented employees
Cons
1. Very poor leadership - hierarchical model, rampant favoritism, bullying, micro management in many organizations. 2. HR considers themselves to be in an advisory role allowing for different orgs to follow their own HR practices 3. Majority of the Support Management are from Cloudera. These ex Cloudera folks think they can rinse/repeat what they did at Cloudera and don't listen to other opinions. Too much micro management. Cloudera leaders have brought in support engineers from Cloudera and these engineers are given preferential treatment. 4. Poor pay, annual merit increase is a joke. You basically can be a super star and not see any merit increase due to their convoluted algorithm. 5. Lots of the folks are resting and vesting. 6. No work-life balance
