Apparently SoFi is shifting it's hiring strategy to location-based, which is very disheartening to hear. I am currently a remote worker, and fear that my opportunities to advance will be limited due to my distance from any SoFi offices. As a Hiring Manager, this may limit the candidate pools - an area where SoFi has always been able to attract top talent, regardless of location. Workload and capacity is on the higher-side from what I have experienced elsewhere and team structures are lean/thin. Each person plays a crucial role, but creates single points of failures when someone is out for an extended period or leaves their role.
