The SoFi culture is terrible. SoFi promotes a culture of back-stabbing and throwing peers under the bus. The philosophy of "others must fail in order for me to succeed" seems to be prevalent, especially in the call center. There is a complete lack of leadership that starts at the executive level and is especially visible at the Director/Manager levels. They preach the need to provide top notch customer service for members (this is the right thing to do) and implement policies and metrics that don't encourage helping members in the slightest (this is the wrong thing to do.)
Although I don't know accurate employee turnover rates it has to be in the 100%-150% range. This is due to a burn out culture, lack of employee appreciation, poor management, and an HR department that would prefer to act first and ask questions later.
This could be an excellent company. Unfortunately during my tenure, it was not.
