Pros

Great healthcare benefits, decent learning experience

Cons

Poor work - life balance; low salaries; not enough training and onboarding; not enough accountability at the director and upper leadership levels, so that lower level employees get thrown under the bus if/when things go wrong. Employees are given $2000 for professional development, but do not have enough time to actually use it. Sink or swim attitude to the work, and employees are held responsible for any misunderstandings that result from incomplete or improper training.

Pros

The name of the company leads people to believe it is an impactful place to work for. It's not.

Cons

The new administration shut down nearly all work at SI because of the way they handled USAID. There is a skeleton staff now, but the good workers have moved on.
