Pros

Good pay, excellent benefits and supportive work culture. Extensive training and opportunities for development. Work life balance encouraged and appreciated.

Cons

Long hours. Heavy Workload is common. Micromanagement is common. Very tight regulations and frequent third party audits. So much paperwork. Safety program that is too large and difficult to manage effectively.

The work experience and professional networking.

Cons

The operations manager, assistant general manager, general manager, catering managers are some of the most abusive people I’ve ever had the misfortune to work with. How they haven’t been sued for workplace harassment or for creating a hostile work environment is surprising.
