Cons

Fast-paced, if you want to hide behind process bureaucracy, this is not the place for you. Evolving and bleeding edge implementations, so learning and changing is not your thing, probably not a right fit for you. If you don't have a Civic tech mindset, this is probably not an excellent fit for you.

Loved working with my team and the pace is fast enough to keep things interesting, but slow enough to not lose your mind as a dev.

Cons

Despite the full day meetings every quarter, really nothing bad at all.

Pros

The company is strong on technical savvy and developing it in its employees. If your goal is to develop tech savvy and be respected for it, they will pay for training and certifications to develop it. They also have a "Demo Day" twice a year, for internal developers to showcase the new technology initiatives (IP) that they are developing. They develop some pretty forward looking IP.

Cons

For all the emphasis that they put on technology and hard skills, they don't do the same with communication and soft skills. Management and leadership easily comes down to treating employees like children rather than adults, which stifles personal initiative.
