Pros

I have had the experience to work with some talented individuals at both Sogeti and my client sites. You can be self-driven and self-motivated which was a big pro for me.

Cons

Sogeti's corporate promises mean absolutely nothing. Employees are becoming more negative towards to company every day and it has an effect on those who were outspoken and positive towards the company. Sogeti will publish compensation and bonus information on their HR portal and then neglect to meet previously published timetables (NO BONUSES PAID ON THE DATE PROMISED). Those who made plans based on the promises of their company were regretfully disappointed when bonuses couldn't be paid out in the timeframe promised. Raises for top-performers are nonexistent (yeah have fun working 60+ hours a week and receiving kudos from client leadership every month only to make less money your following year). If you want a shot at a bonus you will have to work outside of your additional hours (working un-billable hours) BUT I have yet to see our bonuses paid out so who knows. Those who succeed in in generating leads, hires, and business opportunities for Sogeti are not rewarded despite promises. Because our bonuses are 'locked in' at the end of 2018, and you fail to pay on the date you PUBLISHED TO THE HR PORTAL I am only left to believe something SHADY is occurring with these finances.

Pros

Great mentorship, great career development such as trainings, certifications, education reimbursement. It is a good place to expand your skills and managers will step in and help you understand how to navigate tricky situations especially when clients are difficult.

Cons

Low pay. They tell potential hires about "the bench" and how you can still get bench pay when you're not billing at a client while they look for your next opportunity. Increasingly, they lay people off, sometimes after only a few days or right as you hit the bench. Often ask you to work beyond normal 8-5 contracting hours to contribute to the company after a full day of billable work or doing additional trainings on your own time (nights, weekends, using your own PTO). Quite often they paint a rosy picture during monthly internal updates, so you think you're on track for your full bonus payout and then when the year closes, they say other offices didn't make their numbers so our bonuses are lower.
