Pros
The only pro I can name is great health benefits, $100 Kaiser insurance plus you can get dental & vision.
Cons
All I can say is do not come to work as a Retail Energy Consultant. First of all you will sign a contract for one kind of salary and it will change on you and you will be getting minimum wage. Nice huh! And nobody cares that you are new, you have no pipe line, and no installations yet. So yeah go pay your bills with minimum wage salary and don't you dare to speak up about it. It's a very high pressure sales job. They want you to literally RUN after potential customers and make them stop and try to talk them into getting Solar. Because of this even after you get someone to set an appointment, they cancel. And then if you are a great sales person and you even got them to sign the agreement they go online, read reviews, see SolarCity's standing with Internal Affairs (which is horrible!), and after finding out all this they cancel, ofcourse. And what we are told to do is just to blame that on other sales people who are not professional enough and give SolarCity bad reputation. Right! The quota is too hight to maintain unless you are a heartless moron who just straight out lying to the customers. And then they go and leave horrible reviews with the company. So it's a visious cycle that never ends. Retail people make you work 6 days a week, even when you ask to work more hours at the mall and have two days off, they don't give a tiny rat's bottom. They switch schedule on you and throw you in different malls whenever they want. And you end up driving in traffic for ever. I'm already tired of typing all these cons so I'll stop. But trust me there are many many more.
