Pros
I have been in the Solar industry almost 7 years and derive enormous gratification helping families generate their own electricity. The tools SolarCity provides to create accurate, compelling proposals are fantastic. The infrastructure SolarCity has deployed to get the systems installed is impressive, especially at the rate we're growing. Lastly, the opportunities that lie ahead for anyone that wants to grow with the company seem plentiful. I am so grateful and fired up to be working at SolarCity.
Cons
If I was to mention a Con, I find our new compensation plan (to be paid on installation) somewhat frustrating. Too many things are out of our control and we don't have a way to conifirm our projects are moving along without persistent e-mail inquiries to other departments. Visibility to Interconnection and Permit submittals would be helpful.
