Pros
Free to manage yourself Trust in your abilities Proper employees are kept, while dead weight is taken care of If you put in a strong work ethic, it is recognized by teams (at least with my experience in install crews and working with PV Designers)
Cons
Very few employees seemed discouraged Poor changes to positions, lots of movement by management (for example, immediate promotions for a multitude of employees on operations, then demotions/firing following fluctuations in demand for solar)
