Pros

- Lots of bonuses - The pressure makes you bond with Colleagues and there are some really fantastic people in the office - Ability to earn far more than OTE - IF you are liked enough by senior management or they want to hold you up as a good example of "the model in motion"

Cons

- Bullying, belittling, badgering senior Management who believe man management means threatening staff with the sack. - Attitude comes from the very top down so not going to change while C levels remain - Office atmosphere is toxic to say the least when things are not going well. God forbid a senior manager might be on the verge of losing a bonus! Heaven forfend a zero goes missing in their salary! If a senior manager is not getting paid well, they will take their pound of flesh from the poor saps not hitting target - which will typically be the newer people. - No training. And I do mean ZERO training. "Here is your laptop and your phone, why have you not hit your target yet?!" - Creates a real "Sink or swim (by pushing others below you and stepping on them)" attitude in some people and is actively encouraged, even rewarded. - Senior management can do no wrong. Untouchables. No accountability. - The thought process is - if it works in the US, it will work worldwide. I don't even know where to begin with this one.

Pros

Amazing office space in Charlotte with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. There are plenty of social events and networking opportunities that help employees stay engaged and build relationships across different business units. The recent IT reorganization has created a unique opportunity to participate in system and process design initiatives. While this level of change and transformation may not appeal to everyone, it offers valuable experience for those who enjoy shaping new processes and driving organizational improvements. I am optimistic about the direction of the organization and confident in the vision and leadership of the new IT management team.

Cons

Career advancement opportunities can sometimes feel limited within a satellite office environment, and promotion paths are not always clearly defined. Employees seeking long-term growth may benefit from having proactive career development conversations with leadership. The recent IT reorganization has introduced a period of transition, resulting in some uncertainty and lower morale across parts of the organization. The department is currently in a rebuilding phase, and new employees should expect to contribute to the implementation of new processes, systems, and ways of working. Compensation appears to be somewhat below market rates for certain roles, which may be a consideration for candidates prioritizing salary growth.
