Pros

One of my favorite things about Soliant Health is the President, David Alexander. He is such an enigmatic speaker and a natural leader. Our company provides lots of training which is truly special when delivered by Mr. Alexander. He is joined by a few other managers who also have the capacity to motivate and support. The company's involvement in community service is great and we generally have a positive vibe among the individual teams. My manager has always been supportive of my growth and personal success and is very available when needed. I have never had any problem requesting time off, and my manager's expectations have always been clear. There is also a very good variety of personality types and backgrounds within the company, so there are few dull moments.

Cons

One negative aspect within the organization is the lack of communication regarding employees who leave the company. Occasionally the workload can seem overwhelming, but overall the people who are here work hard and have the will to become successful through the metrics provided by the management team.

Pros

- The pay is not bad for the most part. You get paid weekly instead of biweekly or monthly. - Good way to start your CFY if you want to dip your toes into a school setting. - I got a placement very quickly (Only a few days). - Decent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision). - Great support from my supervisor. - Great work/life balance.

Cons

- No pay during the holidays (summer/winter break) - Some miscommunication between the school and the agency. For example, on my first day at work, I was assigned to start at the beginning of the year. When I went to the front office, nobody knew I was the new SLP. The staff and I had to scramble on what to do with me. It was quite confusing and overwhelming. - The school district does not give you full access to their system (e.g., Areies, SEIS) due to not being a direct hire.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your supervisor, appreciated the work/life balance, and found the placement process quick and efficient. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding communication and system access challenges. We understand how frustrating that first-day experience must have been, and we’re continuously working with our school partners to improve onboarding and coordination processes.
