Pros

As an employee of Soliant, you control your future. I feel as though you are the biggest factor in how much money you make or do not make as a recruiter. Soliant also offers optional company activities such as bowling, golfing, biking and kickball to name a few. This company is also involved in many charity events in which every employee can contribute not only monetarily but also donate by giving of their time. Soliant is definitely a company I am proud to work for.

Cons

Some may say there are not enough opportunities for growth. Personally, I am not interested in a "title" but more interested in recognition, which I believe Soliant does a good job of representing through our tiered reward system based on the number of travelers on assignment. Rewards include time off, jean days, free breakfast on Fridays, and bi-annual lunch with the president. And, of course, the more travelers you have working the more money you make.

Pros

- The pay is not bad for the most part. You get paid weekly instead of biweekly or monthly. - Good way to start your CFY if you want to dip your toes into a school setting. - I got a placement very quickly (Only a few days). - Decent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision). - Great support from my supervisor. - Great work/life balance.

Cons

- No pay during the holidays (summer/winter break) - Some miscommunication between the school and the agency. For example, on my first day at work, I was assigned to start at the beginning of the year. When I went to the front office, nobody knew I was the new SLP. The staff and I had to scramble on what to do with me. It was quite confusing and overwhelming. - The school district does not give you full access to their system (e.g., Areies, SEIS) due to not being a direct hire.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your supervisor, appreciated the work/life balance, and found the placement process quick and efficient. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding communication and system access challenges. We understand how frustrating that first-day experience must have been, and we’re continuously working with our school partners to improve onboarding and coordination processes.
