Pros

1. Generally a fun work environment. 2. Met several people while working there and are still friends with them. 3. Management can be very understanding if you are just honest with them. 4. There is opportunity to make good money if you stay long enough to get through the years of not making much... 5. Great PTO 6. Tori and Khannan are the best lol

Cons

1. Commission structure is not great - you wont see any money until you have been there for at least a year and a half. 2. Cookie cutter - they are hiring like crazy and there is a high turnover. All the really good people (unless they have been there for like 10+ years) leave and find better pay and the okay people stay. 3. GOSSIP GOSSIP GOSSIP - the managers have all been friends since they started and it is like a clique. They literally will all stand in a circle together in the middle of the office and gossip about people. OR you can always overhear a manager at their desk talking badly about someone on the phone to another manager. 4. You will feel very insecure and paranoid. 5. Very rigid schedule 6. "Rules of Engagement" change daily - and it is based on who they like more unless it's something SUPER obvious. The rules change EVERY DAY to fit their needs/wants. 7. If you are not liked for ANY reason by managers, you're screwed. 8. They will ask you about becoming a team lead, mentor, shovel coach, etc... but basically it just adds a bunch of responsibilities to your plate with literally no rewards (no pay increase). 9. MICROMANAGING - Seriously, you can do nothing right so dont even try.

Pros

- The pay is not bad for the most part. You get paid weekly instead of biweekly or monthly. - Good way to start your CFY if you want to dip your toes into a school setting. - I got a placement very quickly (Only a few days). - Decent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision). - Great support from my supervisor. - Great work/life balance.

Cons

- No pay during the holidays (summer/winter break) - Some miscommunication between the school and the agency. For example, on my first day at work, I was assigned to start at the beginning of the year. When I went to the front office, nobody knew I was the new SLP. The staff and I had to scramble on what to do with me. It was quite confusing and overwhelming. - The school district does not give you full access to their system (e.g., Areies, SEIS) due to not being a direct hire.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your supervisor, appreciated the work/life balance, and found the placement process quick and efficient. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding communication and system access challenges. We understand how frustrating that first-day experience must have been, and we’re continuously working with our school partners to improve onboarding and coordination processes.
