Pros

The clinical team is top notch. Heavy focus on patient care and experience. Interesting business model. Start-up environment. Rapid expansion (also part of their downfall)

Cons

Little to NO training. Short staffed. Consistent policy changes with zero notice. Poor communication and huge disconnect between departments. Poor leadership. Low employee morale. This company will chew you up, spit you out and not even think twice about it. If you want to be treated as not just a number, then RUN and don’t look back! They will add new positions out of desperation and then will do a “company restructure” and fire within a few months when upper management decides that they no longer need you. I saw this happen to many people in different departments in the company!! No one is safe. If you’re one of the lucky ones and don’t lose your job then you can expect pay cuts or schedule changes that effect your hours but when things get desperate, they are begging you to work overtime with no lunch breaks. They promise Unlimited PTO and Summer Flextime which is all part of their bait and switch scam because it's quickly taken away, or as your manager will say “not approved.” The staff is insecure because every week someone gets cut or they make constant changes to employee roles and departments. As for the membership, they are inconsistent and bend the rules whenever they feel like it, or for a celebrity. This causes many members to be upset because the policies are different depending which Sollis they go to. Don’t waste your time with this company.

Pros

I worked with the company for 2.5+ years and overall had a great experience filled with growth opportunities.

Cons

It’s a start up (and while I was there pre series B) so it’s not for everyone but it is much more structured and offers more resources than others I’ve worked for

Pros

The workload is a joke compared to any ED that you will ever work in. The crew is small and intimate (which is a pro but leads to a con well.)

Cons

No background checks done to weed out the criminals that are pending lawsuits for insurance fraud. The drama is EXTREMELY for being such a small, intimate facility. It soured the experience which would have been great otherwise. One or two of the providers have the WORST bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. They are also condescending and rude for no reason at all.. they don’t even know how to preform real actual emergency medicine and get flustered when there is more than 1 patient in the building. It’s a joke
