scarcity of resources, negative growth mindset, fear of employee lawsuits

Cons

everyone employed at all levels in all roles is afraid of losing their job, psychological safety is nil. granted, startups have relatively high turnover, but Sollis Health is an outlier in the worst way. stay clear at all costs, no matter what they offer you its not worth it.

I worked with the company for 2.5+ years and overall had a great experience filled with growth opportunities.

Cons

It’s a start up (and while I was there pre series B) so it’s not for everyone but it is much more structured and offers more resources than others I’ve worked for

The workload is a joke compared to any ED that you will ever work in. The crew is small and intimate (which is a pro but leads to a con well.)

Cons

No background checks done to weed out the criminals that are pending lawsuits for insurance fraud. The drama is EXTREMELY for being such a small, intimate facility. It soured the experience which would have been great otherwise. One or two of the providers have the WORST bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. They are also condescending and rude for no reason at all.. they don’t even know how to preform real actual emergency medicine and get flustered when there is more than 1 patient in the building. It’s a joke
