Pros
This company truly helps people. Either on the blood side or tissue side, you will be helping save & improve lives. Pay rates are good & because it is a non-profit, there is the possibility of a bonus each year. For the first 24 months there is a pay bump every 6 months & Cost of Living increase each year.
Cons
Research the department you are interviewing with before accepting the position. What I mean is be sure to go in with a list of questions to ask the interviewer and a list you want to ask those working there. Ask the department head you are interviewing with if you can talk to the others...in private. I wish I'd done this. I would have learned a lot before working there.
