We appreciate the comments on your experience with our Sr. Leaders, that is the culture that we strive for.
It is unfortunate that you were not able to see the career path in your area. We have a talent planning process that encourages functional leaders to discuss career aspirations/opportunities with their associates on an annual basis. We also post job openings and encourage people to apply internally.
At Sonepar USA, we encourage associates of all levels to acquire and apply new knowledge to their careers. We have developed a variety of programs to help our associates develop professionally. Training EDU is our eLearning system that provides associates with 24/7 access to up-to-date content that can assist in their career development.
We also offer several instructor led development programs for managers and associates. These are our Sales and Operations development program, Leadership from the Inside Out, and the Sonepar Junior Committee. Additionally, all of our associates are encouraged to discuss their professional goals with their managers so they can work together to develop a career path within Sonepar or one of our operating companies.
We typically conduct exit interviews when associates leave our organization, in order to recognize trends and opportunities to improve. I encourage you to reach out to our Senior Vice President of HR, Janine McManus, if you have any additional questions or concerns.
