Pros
You have a job.
Cons
If part time, you receive no benefits other than your hourly wage. If you're an aspiring college student, you will be told to seek employment elsewhere if you want something more out of your job. Promotion is given to those who snuggle up to the right people albeit at the dealership level or at the corporate level. Corporate tries hard to avoid and distance themselves from the classic car sales tropes like price gouging, apathy towards dissatisfied employees, and a priority for personal time with family, etc however, no efforts are felt at the dealership level. Communication between management and associate level employees is lackluster at the dealership level and is only further dramatized at the corporate level. Again, if you're not the offspring, significant other, or somehow related to someone in corporate or high-level management, do not expect to get anywhere in the dealerships or corporate (Do not expect increases in pay either). This company does not care about you, or what you desire. As long as you come in and work, constantly fixing other's mistakes and shortcomings, they leave you alone but will become agitated when you don't successfully smoothen out operation for those who sit around and do nothing for the majority of the day. Hard work is not recognized and rewarded unless you are again, the SO, relative or close friend of the right manager.
