Pros
Coming to work in jeans and a t-shirt was kinda cool for a while, until you learn you need that because even if you don't work in the warehouse, you're going to end up doing A LOT of shifts in the warehouse. Opportunities for advancement were available, but for one main reason: atrocious turnover. There's a reason people don't keep lower management jobs, and even some upper management jobs. Also, don't expect your compensation to go much higher after moving into a higher position with more responsibility. There's some flexibility for employees, so a hard schedule wasn't really drilled into salary employees, but this idea of "more is expected of salary employees" is taken so seriously, you might as well be on the clock all the time.
Cons
CEO yells. A lot. So much so, that it can be heard through the door of his office at any given time. Who's he yelling at? Who knows, but the chance that you're next is always higher than you think. This is some kind of bizarre view of employee development I've never understood from this company. Benefits were gutted for employees, hourly vacation hours became award-based on attendance, salary vacation was abysmal. Maybe that's changed, but it wouldn't be surprising to see something even more childish put in place. Lots of good people have come in through the doors, and quickly realized they needed to get right out of there. Between culture, upper management behavior, and all the red flags in salary, benefits, etc., why wouldn't you turn and run? Broken systems break even more on the regular, and solutions to this range from "Look it up in Confluence" to "Well, fix it." Confluence would be helpful if articles didn't become absolutely unsearchable and buried under years of other articles written to replace old ones. This is, in fact, how the company trains employees for the most part, and it's a wonder they are able to learn anything from this. Wear comfortable shoes, because when the warehouse workers get fed up and leave in the middle of a busy season, you WILL be out there. Sometimes for 10 hours. If you're salary, expect nothing extra. Employees who give and give and give in the name of improving things overall for the company are ultimately thrown under the bus.
