Pros

Great culture and employees, and friendly management team that helps you through your onboarding process. Supervisors are there to help you succeed. Sonic has a good rep for an ISP (internet service provider) so customer interactions are overall friendlier than other big name ISPs.

Cons

Very low salary for a HCOL area (Bay Area) which results in very high turnover in this department (Technical Support). This department is a call center, so you will most likely have non-standard M-F work hours for night/weekend coverage. And their work "culture", which was by far their best asset, took a hit since the pandemic as most everyone is remote and they stopped the in-person quarterly meetings/holiday parties.

The people here are so great! This company has such good culture and personality. Everyone works hard and enjoys working with each other. It's a great place to work with good, helpful people, autonomy, and a growth mindset.

Cons

Growing quickly means keeping up with new processes and collaboration, but nothing bad to say about that.
