Pros
We have a lot of freedom to get the job done as we see fit. There is no micromanagement from the leadership team directly. We have a great reputation in the industry as a firewall leader in the SMB space. We recently rolled out a bunch of new and exciting products that are sure to positively impact sales in the near future. We have a lot of partnerships and employees that have lasted over 15 years so that is a testament to how much the company is doing right. Tons of training content available for partners and employees. Very technical resources at the top that can explain complex topics simply so anyone can understand.
Cons
Sales activity must be logged weekly to "ensure" everyone is staying active, and that detracts from our time to actually get more proactive activities done. Sometimes we spend more time cutting through internal red tape than should be necessary. Rolls and alignments seem to change every few months so it's hard to attribute positive or negative changes to one thing because we're always dealing with the third variable problem. I would appreciate more formal employee trainings rather than just weekly sales sprints, especially for fundamental technical knowledge.
