Pros

I loved most of my coworkers. Working at Sonoco felt like a family. They pay well also. I enjoyed waking up every morning to go to work. If you fit in well and don't step on the wrong toes, it's a wonderful place to be.

Cons

The favoritism at Sonoco is like a disease. The point system only strictly applies to some. I was fired for supposedly going over my 3-point maximum during my 90 day probationary period. Pros

The salary was good, and the people in the department I worked in were friendly

Cons

Politics at the company were tricky to navigate. Success was more about who liked you rather than merit. Bad behavior would go unaddressed if the person was liked
