Pros

Great managers, members and flexibility when it comes to PTO requests. Training is thorough, and I was given a generous mileage reimbursement for travel. Lots of opportunity for growth and tellers are given a lot more responsabiliites than other Credit Unions I have worked for.

Cons

Pay is below market, and hours are not consistent. Some weeks I work 36, some is 39, because upper management WILL NOT PAY OVERTIME. Makes budgeting difficult, did I mention pay is NOT competitive? Company is EXTREMELY cheap. To members, and employees. Since when is it too much work to provide a water filter for the employees break room? We are discouraged from offering envelopes to members...because of the cost. Last time I checked plain envelopes were not made of gold.

Pros

Management at my branch does an amazing job with creating a diverse team. Everyone's unique skill sets allows our team to collaborate with eachother, it builds a strong team that can handle a lot of situations. The work culture at Sound is inviting and definitely promotes growth and respect. I enjoy it here.

Cons

Some days are very slow and so you have to find things to do or you will get bored. Other than that I don't see any other cons.
